Camping for the first time.

We just got home from Mauthe Lake State Park. I kinda like the thing called camping. I got to smell and check out SO many new things. Mom and dad are so proud of me! I actually walked around the upper 500's loop on my new harness and leash. Well I really just followed dad while he was waving my new feather toy in from of me. I liked driving around the campground with my head hung out the window like a dog when we went driving around looking at everyones Halloween displays. Dad was dissapointed to find out that his '61 Shasta was not the oldest one in the park. Someone came in late on Saturday with a '60 Yellowstone. He said his is in way better shape. I said hey.... you guys have the youngest and cutest cat camping this weekend. How much more can you ask for?

Checking out Mauthe Lake.

Here I am chillin' with mom in the camper. I like to lay in front of the Little Buddy heater. It's like my own personal fireplace. I had a great time while camping. I even gave ma and dad the scare of their life. While they were packing up to go home, mom left the outer door open and thought she closed the screen door tight. While they were folding up the astroturf rug I jumped up and climbed to the top of the screen door and it popped open, and I procedded to jump off and run like hell! It was fun watching the two old farts freak out and try to catch me. Nothing like a good game of chase the kitty. Dad yelled get the clicker. Ma ran and grabbed the clicker and treats and said "Oscar come" "click" like a fool I ran up to her thinking I was going to get a treat. She must have been mad at me because I got no treat, only put back in the camper with both doors closed tight while they finished packing. Dad said he thought mom was a fool for clicker training me, at least he admitted he was wrong. On the way home they decided that they were going to call and make an appointment with someone called the Vet. They talked about something called micro chipping and "snip snip". Something tells me I am not going to like this Vet dude. I'll keep you posted.

The first couple of weeks at my new home.

I was also born a poor Bi Colored Ginger child/barn kat somewhere close to Beechwood Wisconsin. I never knew my daddy. Papa was a rolling stone. Momma had the bad habit of chasing cars ‘til one day she finally caught one. I miss Momma. They found me a couple of days later very weak. Katie, Josh and "The Ladies" took me in. Katie bottle fed me until I was stonger. I lived in a box with them for a few days until dad took me home to surprise mom. "I did what I had to do and adopted two unsuspecting humans. Hey…. A Kats gotta do what a Kats gotta do. I’m 6 weeks old and cute enough to make the ladies swoon.  Boy am I glad that I moved in with them. I couldn't ask for two more cooler kats! I LOVE them. They tell me that they have always adopted older kats and they were looking forward to raising a kitten. Man do I have plans for them.

Here is a picture of me visiting "The Ladies" my identical twin nieces Ava and Zoe. I sure am glad that I moved in with Dawn and Scott. These ladies really tire me out, the one called Ava on the left (I can tell them apart, which is more that I can say for Grandpa Scott). I try to stay away from her she likes to pick me up by the neck and play in my bathroom. That's Zoe on the right. I love the Zoe Bear she pets me and giggles when I run behind the baby gate. Here I am about 9 weeks old teaching them how to play.

My mom and dad keep telling me that Allie, Opie and Sabastian got together at the rainbow bridge and conspired against them. They sent me to heal their broken hearts. I got my mousing skills and scissor's teeth from Allie, she could chew through yarn and fishing line in 1.2 seconds flat! I get my big cat attitude, fetching and jumping skills from Opie. I also like to spend time under the brooder lamp like Opie did. (see pic on left) I also look a lot like Baz (he had long hair, I am short haired) and I LOVE water like him also.  Mom and Dad tell me that we are going to go camping soon . I'll post back when I find out what camping is all about.
